I’m Alan.  Welcome to my Blog.  I’m 25, a writer, comedian, journalist and I have a passion for discovering all things new in life. This summer, over 6 weeks I travelled by bus from the very top to the very bottom and to all sides and middles of this lovely green patch of land.

With the help of my followers, I discovered great places, met interesting people, attended some great events, gigs and festivals. This blog is a record of this amazing experience, I hope it gives you inspiration.

I would choose Faith No More. Now I know Mike Patton is a fella but I would happily change sex just so I could have a voice like his. He can go to such extremes with it, from screaming to crooning. LOVE HIM!!

Thirty Seconds to Mars! Would get to dress up as a different thing every night with their themed gigs and also invite a pile of fans onto the stage for the last song.

Female lead vocalist for Seasick Steve - l. he makes me feel young :) 2. Catching him last year doing an acoustic gig in the woods was a highlight of my electric picnic, and 3. anyone else I would have wanted to front for is dead (sadly, James Brown, Gil Scot Heron, Grover Washington Junior)

I'd like to be Bono - simply because U2 is one of the, if not the most, richest bands in the world. So I'd be him, ignore the fact that everyone hates me (also quite an experience) and transfer some money in my bank account :-) If I'd choose to be less greedy, I'd choose Billy Corgan because he is a musical genius.
