How'a'ya?

I'm Alan. Welcome to my Blog. I’m 25, a writer, comedian, journalist and have a passion for discovering all things new in life. 
This summer, I went on a brilliant trek by bus from the very top to the very bottom and to all sides and middles of this lovely green patch of land.

My challenge was to discover great places, meet interesting people, attend some great events, gigs and festivals, do all sorts of quirky stuff, and go wherever the mood took me.

My amazing followers helped me make the most of my trip and discover all the best things that Ireland has to offer by suggesting places to go, where to eat and even helping out by sending me some of their own reviews! In return for their participation and advice I gave away loads of prizes courtesy of Bus Éireann, from festival tickets and iTunes vouchers to surf lessons, B&B stays and free bus travel in between!

I now have a Facebook app called "Your Rockstar Moment" where I'm asking my followers to upload their Rockstar photo and they could be in for a chance to win 3 Electric Picnic weekend camping tickets as well as VIP transport there and back with Bus Éireann.
